Dr. Tritschler doesn’t merely attempt to treat symptoms, but instead strives to treat the BODY – your body – to bring it to full balance and functionality. She abides by the motto: “every body is different.” Given our unique genetics, environmental stimuli, emotional states, and conditioning, we each respond to treatments very differently from one another. There’s no such thing as the perfect treatment that works on everyone.
For maximum benefit, balance, and well-being, we must in fact specialize care for every person. Dr. Tritschler utilizes a wide array of solutions to meet patient needs, including orthopedic and neurological testing, observance of the body, Applied Kinesiology (AK), Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), clinical nutrition, and Chinese methods. A detailed patient history along with diagnostic testing lends to a well-balanced and individualized plan for every patient to ensure better treatment protocols and tracking.
Dr. Tritschler’s Background
Growing up in a very small town in eastern Oklahoma, Dr. Tritschler always knew that she wanted to go out and explore the world and help people; however, she never knew that those dreams would include going to Chiropractic school and living in Colorado. She had thought the path ahead of her would include an M.D. at the end of her name rather than a D.C., until the day she started working for a Chiropractor in the 2nd year of college. Seeing a Chiropractor help so many people with just his hands and natural remedies opened her eyes to the possibilities of natural care. She never knew that her “normal” wasn’t the best she could feel. She was hooked!
After finishing her own Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Tritschler luckily stumbled into purchasing a practice in Broomfield, CO, and quickly fell in love with the area and people. About 2 years into private practice, she met Dr. Lowell Keppel at a seminar that he was teaching in Colorado Springs. Through Dr. Keppel’s friendship and mentorship, Dr. Tritschler honed the skills she had acquired in school and began helping more and more clients. Now, after being in a solo practice for 8 years, she is making the jump over to a multi-faceted practice: “I am SO excited for this next step in my life and learning even more from the great team at Natural Family Health Care!”

Donna Keeler’s Background
When Donna was growing up, she enjoyed time with her maternal grandmother whose hands were crippled with arthritis. Later, when she was in high school, Donna asked her grandmother what she had done to heal her hands…because, at that point, they were fully functional. Grandmother replied that she had gone to a chiropractic doctor (who interestingly attends the Muscle Response Testing workshops that Dr. Keppel teaches), who suggested using nutritional supplements and modifying her diet to relieve the symptoms.
Fast forward several years…
In 2001, when she was a mother of two children who were then 2-1/2 years old and 6 months old, being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease wasn’t in Donna’s life plan. Luckily a work associate was willing to share what had helped her with an auto-immune disease. This is when Donna’s journey and fascination with nutrition began. She decided to use western medicine only when absolutely necessary and incorporate a nutritional approach to health and healing into her daily life. Since 2001, Donna has used food as medicine with little or no prescription medications – like her grandmother.
She studied on her own for years, implemented new concepts and decided it was time to pursue what she really wanted to know: “What is the science behind why food is healing?” With working full-time and three kids in school, sports, and other activities, her husband took on a lot of the juggling act as she enrolled in the Nutrition Therapy Institute to become a Master Nutrition Therapist. In the process, adrenal insufficiency was avoided and the daily practice of how to stay healthy through specific nutrients was refined.
Although Donna specializes in nutrition protocols to support the symptoms of pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, syndrome x, arthritis, fibromyalgia and other auto-immune concerns, she can also provide support and advice for a variety of other symptomatic challenges ranging from balancing blood lipids, non-alcoholic fatty liver, autism and plantar fasciitis.
Donna offers a practical approach to whole life nutrition. As you run from one commitment to the next, there are many food influences on television, in mail flyers, and on billboards, and these can challenge your committment to stay the course. Your nutrition may need a little tweak or it may need dedicated attention; whatever the case, Donna’s goal is to make your transition to a new nutrition plan affordable and effective.
Education and Memberships
Donna graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 1990 and from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver as a Master Nutrition Therapist in 2015. To complete the nutritionist qualifications, Donna completed internship hours with Dr. Keppel, Amy Granger of Love and Light Holistic Health Services and Donna Wild nutrition expert and lecturer.
Donna Keeler is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and the Weston A. Price Foundation.
