Dr. Lowell Keppel, DC

Chiropractor

Lowell Keppel is a champion at integrating chiropractic adjustments with nutritional counseling, Neuro-Emotional Technique®, and herbal remedies. A seasoned chiropractor, Dr. Keppel has honed his diagnostic tools over 25 years to get effective results. He emphasizes physical observations, muscle testing, and hands-on protocols, following the wisdom of traditions that often have been forsaken by medical specialists. Amy Jepsen, PT

Physical Therapist

Jessica, MT

Massage Therapist

Jessica graduated from Denver School of Massage Therapy in December 2015, but her love of the healing arts started when she was a child in her father’s chiropractic office. Utilizing the knowledge, she learned from her father, she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a massage therapist. Her love for the healing arts continues to grow as she continues to learn about the body’s natural healing abilities.

Michaele Thompson & Loralei

Office Manager

Michaele Thompson is the office manager who takes care of the front desk and whose voice you will likely hear whenever you call us. Michaele also runs all of the behind the scenes operations that entail many responsibilities and contributes to the success of the office. Read more about Michaele Thompson’s background.

Dr. Keppel’s Background

Dr. Keppel received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1983, following an Associate degree in Science from Southwestern Michigan Community College. He became certified in Neuro-Emotional Technique® in 1999, having studied directly under the program’s founder, Dr. Scott Walker. He has undertaken a variety of further training, including herbology, spinal rehabilitation, and on-going nutritional education.
There is always some seminar, book or journal that he knows might deepen his knowledge or contribute one more bit of information that he can directly translate into an effective treatment. He gives sound advice from the perspective of clinical experience and years of practice.

More recently, Dr. Keppel has been teaching seminars for Standard Process West. He has become their in-house chiropractor and is recognized as a mentor for other practitioners throughout the greater Denver area.

Amy Jepsen’s Background

Amy is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (1995) where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has 16 years of experience working in a variety of settings including acute hospital care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health care, and outpatient orthopedics. She also has advanced training in several manual therapy techniques including:

  • Muscle Energy Technique of the Thoracic Spine and Ribs
  • Muscle Energy Technique of the Cervical Spine and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
  • Muscle Energy Technique of the Lumbar-Pelvic-Sacrum
  • Diagnosis and Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Management of Hip Pain and Dysfunction
  • Clinical Examination and Manual Therapy of the Shoulder and Shoulder Girdle

Jessica’s Background

Pairing massage with at home restructuring exercises and stretches, clients have had great results in rehabilitation, correcting poor posture and alleviating chronic pain.

Massage modalities offered by our Massage therapist include:

  • Myofascial Release,
  • Cranial Sacral Therapy

The massages are usually focused on areas of chronic pain or injury to assist in the healing process. All massages are based on the needs of the patient.
